SafeAir Certifed Mold Inspection
SafeAir Certified Mold Inspection specializes in mold testing in Atlanta, air quality testing, consultation, and analysis of residential and commercial properties. The mold testing and mold inspection services we provide are used by individuals who know or believe they may have a mold problem. All SafeAir Certified mold Inspectors are Council-certified Microbial Consultants through the ACAC, the industry leader for certification for the mold testing and inspection industry.

In addition to the traditional methods used during mold inspections, our toolbox also includes a thermal imaging camera. Thermal imaging provides our team with a non-invasive method of locating problem areas in both residential and commercial structures. Having been provided with an instant high resolution thermal image, the inspector can identify potential conditions conducive to mold growth in places that cannot typically be reached with a standard moisture meter.

U.S. government studies show that we Americans are exposed to 200 or more different species of mold every day!
Services
My name is Jeremy Shelton, and I provide all of the mold testing and mold inspection services performed by SafeAir Certified Mold Inspection.
I founded SafeAir Certified Mold Inspection in 2009 after discovering a severe mold problem in the crawlspace of the house I had just purchased.
The mold growth in the crawlspace of the residence was polluting the air in the living area of the home, and I developed health problems as a result of the indoor type mold spores I was breathing.
Shortly after moving into the home I developed severe sinus congestion and suffered from sporadic headaches as a direct result of the toxic mold spores that I was breathing every day.
You need to learn about mold!
Our website includes the resources to help consumers learn about this ever-increasing health risk.
Our mold inspection and testing company was created out of a need in the Atlanta community for an independent, thorough and honest mold inspection and mold testing company.
As part of our commitment to the public, we have developed pages to educate consumers about mold.
On our website, you can access information ranging from symptoms of exposure to toxic mold and how to control mold to how to eliminate mold problems.
Before we proceed further I would like to request that after reading this guide, if you feel comfortable please share it others may be it could save someone's life.
At SafeAir Certified Mold Inspection, our mission is to help you, as a home owner, renter, or business owner, detect and document issues found through our professional mold inspection and testing services.
Molds are a fungi that can be found anywhere regardless of condition.
With species estimates ranging from tens of thousands to three hundred thousand, mold is an everyday fact of life.
You want to be sure that any discoloration or staining you think is mold actually is mold.
And, if it is, precisely what type of mold is it so the mold can be removed correctly.
You want to be assured that you and anyone living or working with you in the building have not been exposed to molds that may cause health problems.
Specifically, where there is no obvious visible mold growth, SafeAir Certified Mold Inspection tests for mold to find out if airborne mold spores are present or absent.
If toxic black mold spores are present, we then determine their compositions and concentrations, which is especially important in situations where occupants of the building complain of not feeling well.
Help others to understand why they should test for Mod? Help spread the word.
People often ask us "Why should I test for mold?".
There are many reasons as to why it may be a good idea for one to have their home tested by a professional mold inspector.
Testing for mold can help uncover the truths behind health concerns and help minimize potential financial risk and liability.
When SafeAir Certified Mold Inspection performs mold inspections for commercial properties or properties that could possibly face litigation relating to mold problems, we typically obtain environmental samples to determine the species of mold and mold spores that are present.
