We had an area emergency with a branch crashing through the roof during an evening weekend ice rain storm. They responded to my frantic call, were able to give an accurate arrival time of when they could respond. Other services either were late on responding to the call and gave only vague estimates when they could respond. They made a temporary repair to stop the immediate damage until it could be permanently repaired in better weather.
They returned in the daytime the following week and reviewed and inspected inside for any additional damage with recommendations for remediation. When we had a flood in 2014 in a historic house on Astor Street in Chicago--Charnley-Persky House--we called ServiceMaster to remove the water from ceilings, walls and floorboards.
